Default Re: It's all about patience, but welcome to the 90 club =P. Any leaks? Issues? Problems? Concerns?

Yeah plenty of problems actually. But it's Ok. Rack leaks a bit, PS pump groans a bit on startup. AC not currently working. Need a valence for the front. Good news timing belt was done recently ( he did it the hard way, broke the belt, bent a valve or two.)

A couple dashlights out, power window gremlins, sunroof out of sync.

Straight body, nice interior (Ecru Leather, nice for the hot desert I live in.) very good condition otherwise

Is Rack replacement in the realm of the home mechanic, or should I leave it to the pros? I'm moderately handy, unafraid of most tasks. I've done an I-5 timing belt, swapped auto trans on VW.

Default I hate to say this but from the sounds of it, you got burned. You paid way too much $$$

for a car with so many major/costly issues.

If you have to ask if any job needs a mechanic, then most likely your expertise is not up to par.
