Default cq seats uncomfortable/bad lower back support?

Is it just me or are the stock seats Audi put in CQ terrible? I remember reading how people said they were nice when I was looking in buying one, but just yesterday I did a fairly long 2 hour drive and was reminded again that they aren't. I seem to get lower back pain after sitting in it for more than a couple hours. I kind of forgot about that since I have been mainly driving around town in it recently. Is the seat foam just worn and more rock hard or are they always that bad? I can't really think of a worse seat(comfort wise) I have sat in right now.

Have you bothered to try adjusting lumbar support?

Default yes, it works fine

Just doesn't really offer much support for the lowest region of your back.

Agreed. The seats in my CQ suck compared to those in my B4.

I put in seats from a 2000 Audi TT and they were amazingly more comfortable

Default Hmmm...I guess I'd have to disagree.

My coupe's seats fit me quite well. They are WAY better than my g/f's subaru outback seats. I have the lumbar pushed all the way out. The only thing that bothers me is that they are a little too high. I'm 6-2 and this summer when I auto-xed it, the helmet hit the roof...not very comfortable.

Anyhow...some nice rs2 seats would be cool.

Default I completely agree. The seats in both my CQ's were terrible

The lumbar support stuck out too far even adjusted all the way in and the rest of the seat was rock hard and uncomfortable. Worst seats I've ever experienced in a car.

On the other hand the sport seats in my UrS6 are incredible. Maybe look into a swap? UrS seats show up regularly on Audifans.

Default get cloth ones, 100x more comfortable

when i swtiched from my old 80q to my cq my back actually did hurt. the leather is just not as pliable as the soft cloth was.

the seater heaters worked much better/faster too.
