Cranks but no start.
My 93 90cs v6 fwd auto, has been down for the count for a few weeks now. It will crank and crank all day but wont fire up. I put a new fuel filter in but when I took one of the fuel lines off the rail it was dry. This was even after cranking the motor agian. So I started to take things apart to check the fuel pump. I losened one of the lines at the cap on top of the tank and it was pressureized which didn't make sense to me. As I have no fuel at the rail it appears.. Any ideas? This is kind of urgent as I've been without a car for a while now..

Does a fuel pump relay work? Once you turn the key its supposed to prime the system...
your line should be dry untill its primed....so if you were cranking with it off and no fuel, I'd check that relay, if not than probably the pump.

Happend before the fuel filter change. I installed the new one correctly. I had the relay tested at my local audi shop so I guess that means I need a new fuel pump..
