i put a deposit on an engine and i go today to put the rest on and hopefully take it home. first thing he said was he doesnt know what i was talking about, then after i refreshed his memory he was like "i dont remember us telling you you can have the harness and all that. that ECU alone is worth like $200." the original deal with him was that he gives me the engine/harness/ecu outta a 1989 200t and 40 extra for the CIS. he said he will remove it and that i can pick it up whenever i want. so then he is saying he isnt gonna bother with the harness, just gonna go cut it. and that he isnt even gonna sell me the turbo with the engine cuz that is worth 150 alone. so i got my deposit back (60 bucks) and left. i dont even know for sure this engine RUNS and he was asking for 700 for everything. ***. now im on the hunt again for a motor/donor car.

That's what I did, then part it out and have a wrecker drag it away for free.

i want to find a 5000t/200t that i can drive home then use that car till im thru with it. then get it towed away..OR take my old motor and put it in the other car..hmm... lol

There an 89 200T in the yard here, the motor's been picked over a bit (by me) but I'll bet you can get the whole motor, harness, and everything for 300.00.
