Did you ever replace your center caps with OE Audi ones?
I am wondering if the metal ring is needed as they fit pretty tight without it, in fact I cannot get them to snap in with the metal ring as it pinches and taking a rubber mallet would probably snap something.
I am in the process of grinding down the ring a bit so it has more slack but it seems like high chromium stainless so its going slow.
If you replaced yours did you use the ring?

Note, the silver with chrome logo look awesome, I'll toss a pic up soon when get them done.
