i have pretty much given up looking for the harness in my car and i have not found anything by the tranny. can i run a wire from the senders themselves and into the car and to the gauge? where is the temp sender located? which one is pressure?

Pressure sender is on the driver side of the block, about 1.5" in diam, has two terminals on it.

Temp sender is in the oil pump. Actually part of the pressure relief valve.

Not installed on all cars. Should be able to use any generic VDO senders for either gauge.

No, there are still two pressure senders. Just one of them is quite large.

You can see it on the picture...It's the darker silver round object, almost straight down from the water port.

When I said straight down, I was referencing the picture "coordinate", so really the pressure sender is aft of the water manifold.

The giant silver aluminum thing is part of the alternator bracketry.

#1 is white pressure sender. The other takes the place of the brown sender, and sends a signal to the pressure gauge...Sorry for the confusion!
