Default damned miss won't go away.

changed o2 sensor, temp sensor, plugs, cap, rotor, found a vacuum leak. also slight power loss from 3500 - 4200. haven't pulled the codes yet.

next on list??

a. cat
b. replace all vacuum lines
c. suck it up and take it to a shop

i'm at an impasse.

Default Not a "common" symptom...

but a possible one.

Could be the MAF?

Or the ignition sensors?

Process of elimination...

Default well, they all have a certain resistance, and yes.

you can test the resistance of the sensors to individually diagnose them. and any sensor that is not contacting correctly and not sending signals to the ecu will send a code. if the ecu is not functioning properly, then yes a bad sensor may not give a code.

Default The codes will lead you in the right direction.

I had a different power loss due to bad knock sensor wiring , couldnt figure it out for a while but as soon as i pulled the codes i had it fixed in a day (and a WAD of cash for 2 sensors)
