changed o2 sensor, temp sensor, plugs, cap, rotor, found a vacuum leak. also slight power loss from 3500 - 4200. haven't pulled the codes yet.

you can test the resistance of the sensors to individually diagnose them. and any sensor that is not contacting correctly and not sending signals to the ecu will send a code. if the ecu is not functioning properly, then yes a bad sensor may not give a code.

I had a different power loss due to bad knock sensor wiring , couldnt figure it out for a while but as soon as i pulled the codes i had it fixed in a day (and a WAD of cash for 2 sensors)
