Do B5 seats fit B3s ?
my seats suck.
I have an 88 B3 90Q, leather manual heated seats.
I want heated seats with proper side bolstering. What fits ?
There are A4 seats all over junkyards here for cheap. My current front seats have rips and suck.

As long as you keep manual to manual they *should* fit...
...although most A4s that had leather had power seats (at least for the driver). You might have to find a set of cloth or leatherette seats to make it work properly.
Keep in mind rear seats won't swap...

Well....your in LUCK.
I'm gonna go to the recycler (possibly tomorrow) to take some measurements. This will at least give us a good idea how/if they will bolt in or not.
The recycler says no, but said I'm welcome to come down and go into the yard to take measurements if I want. Which is what I'm gonna do!

Didnt get to look at any A4's :(
But, I did find a page or two where people posted pics of replacing seats in a B5 A4. Everything LOOKS the same, the only question is are the measurements the same. I believe some VW seats are the same too (They had some recaro seats out of a 90 VW which mounted the same way...but I dont know about the exact measurements).

Another Option (after some research)
I was told a pair of Recaro seats from a VW GTI/GLI would also work...so I researched and apparently Jetta/Golf also have the same seat mounting locations (abeit I dont know what year's will fit). I bet anything up to ~99 would work, as here is the seat removal for a jetta (which I just did on my 90 and it was identical)
