Default No. You just need an axle bolt.

That's to get the CV off the shaft, is that what you mean? The CV/axle assembly will pull out of the hub by hand once the ball joint is disconnected.<ul><li><a href="http://www.20v.org/drvshaft.htm">Step 10</a></li></ul>

Hmm. That area is pretty well oiled and sealed up though, I wouldn't think rust would be an issue.

Default no i meant the halfshaft from the hub, that covers it..thanks.

i know some cars u need a hub puller to get them apart...couldnt recall if i needed one for the 90.

Default Rust is a headache

We just did two that were stuck.

If you can get it up on a lift you can generally work them out, but on stands on the ground it's a lot harder.

Sometimes they're fine and sometimes not. When you're in a hurry is when they usually give you a problem.

Default pull the bolt, spray inside with PB/WD, put bolt back in a few good turns and...

whack it like 90/90Qs said.
