Does it matter what oil filter i use?
I have a fram right now, should i get another one to put in? I'm about to do an oil change, has anybody used Valvoline Maxlife? - hoping it will help stop oil leaking through the seals.

i switched to 15w-50w Mobil 1 Sythentic that solved that problems with the leaks...and i use t he large oil filter "Maulhe" or something like that..

Now wait just another cotton picking minute......
No, that's not the same question i asked, related - not the same. i've had all kinds of problems with oil. Yeah, i'd get it fixed, but it is outrageously expensive, so i need to look at other alternatives like oil and filters that could help me.
