I just got a couple for the rear: HD #B36-2050 and there are no dust covers. Seems like they'd be a good idea. Reuse the old nasty ones, I guess, is the other solution....
Any ideas?

B36-2050 HD rear struts for 1991 Audi 80 or 90 Front Wheel Drive - no boot installed - says their database.
I guess I have to take them at their word. He said that Bilsteins are constructed completely differently than any other shocks on the market, so differences like these are found from time to time. The existing shocks have a dust boot but he said not to even try to use it. Just install as they come.
Uh, Ok... Well, thanks - sorry to bug everyone, but I thought it would be better to be sure of this BEFORE it's all put together again! THANKS!
