Default Eliminating AUX radiator on 20V cars...

Those of you who did it, what did you use to block off top radiator outlet and is there a hose that fit directly/replace the bottom one leading to thermostat housing....I was looking at ETKA and it seems like there is same shape hose just without that AUX extension but I'm not sure. I guess I could buy it and see.

Let me hear your ideas..

Default I used a universal hose from NAPA on the bottom and then I stuck an appropriate brass plug

from NAPA in the top.

Default Might be noob question but...

why would you want to remove the aux rad? Is there a benefit from this?

Default In the north, it's not needed as much, but in the south or hot climates

with AC and auto trans, the extra cooling is really needed. So, it's just something you can do, depending on where you live. The replacement isn't that expensive if the old one is shot. And, usually, when the Aux Rad is shot, the main one isn't far behind.
