Engine running real rough(12v)...
My check engine light would come on periodically every few days. Sometimes it would be weeks between appearances. The engine didn't run any different. About a month ago the light came on as I started the car and the engine ran rough for around 5 minutes. It never happened again until this week but the engine runs rough %98 of the time. It'll run ok for about 5 minutes when I start the car then the light will come on and it runs like crap. Today I noticed it also ran rough while the light was out. It's really upsetting. I have the jumpers from the factory to check the codes if that'll be any help.

Runs rough throughout the RPM band, or just idle?
My initial guess would be toasted oxygen sensors stuck leaving the car running rich, which would indicate why the car runs good when cold, when the engine needs a richer mixture. That would be my first guess.

it runs rough through the entire RPM band and it sounds alot louder, like an out of tune engine...
It feels like I'm running on 4 cyliders. There's a considerable powerloss. The car shakes more than usual at idle but it does start with no problem. I just disconnected my battery for 1/2 hour. We'll see if that did anything. Which connector do you place the ends of the paperclip into and which terminals? I'm a NOOB with this car. I really need a Bentely but I'm broke with Christmas. I'll check back tomorrow. No internet at the GF's house. But she has something else that makes up for...most of the time.
