are the engine speed and reference sensors always 100-200$??

don't know if the same applies but on my V8, they were identical sensors.
V8 sensor = 100 dollars
5000 sensor = 85 dollars only difference is the 5000 sensor has more line on it. easily zip tied out of the way. STFA .. that'll help.

i should have said that even the older KH turbo motors use the same sensors
034 905 381 for the ref.
034 905 381A for the rpm
and thats for all the 5k/200 turbo motors.. and the 7A
however.. they may be identical sans the color of the plug.. that i do not know.. they sure look it

yeah i just read up and saw that the 7A, 3B, and AAN use the same sensors.
What I did when I replaced my sensors was I bought two of the $100 sensors. The color will be the same so you just have to make sure that connection A goes to sensor A and connection B goes to sensor B. So, just don't swap them and you'll be fine.
