Default man... thats nothing...

last week I did 2 control arms, 2 struts, a subframe, brakes, and a few other little things...

now start figuring all the bolts that go along with those...

broke rear balljoint bolts in 2 struts (got both out), extracted the broken subframe bolt (entire reason for removing the subfram), replaced a wheel bearing... all together, so many bolts came off... a many of them I've fought with before and pre-lubed when I put back together.

Canadian winters take their toll.

Default I got one word for you: Kroil.

All of the work I do on older cars, I always go through the bolts I'll be working on & soak 'em with this stuff first. I just found it in Sept. '05, and can't believe I've been working without it all this time.

FWIW, I've done lots of suspension work on my '90CQ, and haven't had any problems yet. (don't jinx me!)<ul><li><a href="http://www.eastwoodco.com/shopping/search/searchresultsmain.jsp?affiliate=1&amp;fresh=1&amp; searchType=advanced&amp;RS=1&amp;keyword=kroil">Kr oil penetrating oil</a></li></ul>

Default Yes...

Ive got a brazing torch... little hotter than a propane torch... if you can reach the bolts, heat them... you might want to replace them with new bolts if you do get them out.

Won't work with rear diff mount bolts!! It's like using water there, no effect.
