Factory heater core picture wanted

I just ordered a replacement heater core for my '95 90Q from AutohausAZ and the one I got (see pic) doesn't look like I expected. The core in the car currently has metal inlet and outlet pipes while this one has plastic. In addition the end of the core is plastic with crimped metal tabs holding it on (see pic). Is this the correct core for my car? If I ordered one from the dealer would I get a different part? AutohausAZ lists the part number as "8D1 819 030A" and the manufacturer as "VAG/Mayle" so I would expect that it's the exact same part.
Just want to make sure before it's put in since once it's there it's in for good.

The part numbers match
However the new core has no writing on the part itself indicating the part #, it's just on the box (8D1 819 030A). I have no idea what the core in the car looks like since the dash hasn't been removed yet, I'm just basing the question on the differences in the pipes that pass through the firewall. It's possible that this core is either a revised part or a non-factory part so I posted the question in hopes that someone can tell me which it is.
