Default Fault Code 2232 (MAF and wiring)...question

Guys need some assistance, B3 - 88 90 quattro, (5 cyl)

I pulled a fault code of 2232; now I was under the impression that the NG motors did not have MAF sensor?...

If I am wrong what's 2232? Location?, and direction to fix this problem?

Thanks in advance
---search--- reveals info regarding the B4 not B3 :0)

Default I know that one...

Airflow sensor potentiometer. ECU is not getting a signal, or the signal is not what is expected. Check the wiring to the airflow sensor pot. Also, are there any other codes...like full throttle switch?

Default Re: Airflow sensor pot in a B3?...

No other codes except 2232, seems like the check engine light comes on after the car warms up.

Where can I locate this a.f. sensor pot?., (remember 10v)...

thanks
