Prepare to throw away convention and disregard EVERYTHING that's been done with small-bore struts...
and coilovers previously. None of the spring rates or much of anything else done with small-bore struts previously applies to these. In fact most everything that's been done before won't be anywhere near applicable to this system involving Pro-Mounts/Mance-Mounts, CCK's, BBSE's and the UrS struts. It's an entire purpose-designed open-architecture system and not "just" coilovers! This is a quantum leap over ANYTHING that's been done on or for the vintage small-chassis Audi suspension-wise in the past. This changes everything... DRAMATICALLY!!
While certainly not the cheapest route to coilovers if that's someone's sole motivating factor it remains likely the most well conceived, thought-out and dynamically open-architecture design for future strut-related and/or suspension upgrades. And compared to the pre-packaged/pre-assembled kits out there over 35% less money!
And it's gonna get better, MUCH better!!
