Default found my AC bills

original owner in 2000 replaced both the AC condenser and evaporator.

seems he also over the course of about 10 years had the system charged a few times.
134A as stated.

$731 for the evap and $450 for the condenser....damn.

total p/l = $1731

I guess the dude really liked his AC to shell out that kinda cash.

Also while digging I found the last TB change (@62K) and the only parts listed were TB,WP and S-belt.

hmm, no record of idler, tensioner or thermo.

If that is the case those parts had 125K on them.
That would be amazing if true seeing as the tensioner was dry but still spinning and the idler was actually in pretty good shape.

funny he paid twice as much for the WP in 98 as I just did last month. Ah you gotta love wholesale places like AZ.

It was a much newer car in 2000 also. So the $1700 wasn't half the value.

Default When I got my 90 a few years ago I did the comp, clutch, condenser, dryer, several lines

O-tube, all o-rings in converting it to 134a. It cost me $1,500in parts. **** I only paid $2k for the whole car. But it was nice intil my auto CC head crapped out. Now I'm working on a manual CC swap.

Holy Retail Prices!
I just ordered a rebuilt compressor off ebay for $160 shipped. I'm getting a new drier, o rings and expansion valve from autohausaz for $58.

I'm hoping the condenser and evaporator I have are in good enough shape, maybe I'll get away with under $400 on my r134a conversion.

Default no doubt

yeah this dude paid full dealer prices even though some places like megaparts did exist around that time, he apparently had no clue.
