Ah, regular search doesn't show that but OE parts section does.

Good price if those are the right size but not sure if they consider 44.4mm "large" or "small" so I'd ask them to be sure.

Is the difference in sizes due to the fact that there are 2 different type of control arms used on these cars?

Yes.
Large appears to be for the cast control arms and small the stamped steel ones.

Control arm bushings are done and so far so good. Car feels tight and almost new again. Mechanic said a couple of the bushings just 'fell' out rather easy. Now time for an alignment and then enjoy the solid suspension this car has.

Default Questions on control arm bushing replacement...

Did your mechanic perhaps have just the centre metal cores fall out alone on dis-assembly this time? This is common. Retrieving the spent parts would tell. The reason I ask is the apparent difference between this occasion and your recalling of the previous one, two years ago "...he didn't have to press them in.". You should have cast arms and require larger bushings. What do you think really went on there, did you get the correct bushings then?

This time, did your mechanic wait till wheels fully weighted before tightening the bolts?

Does anyone notice a difference between OEM and aftermarket bushings longevity?

After I saw the bushings that came out, it was apparent that one of the metal cores was separated. We discussed the bushing install in the past and he did say that these bushings were pressed in this time and they seemed to go in with no issues. Car feels like new again. Handles like it's on rails!
