Default Fuse blow when shifting into reverse (Audi 90) . . .

The car is V-6 12v automatic.

When I shift into reverse the fuse blows (#12). It is associated with the automatic transmission, the backup lights, GR4 (?), instrument cluster, and some other things.

The AFT fluid is a little high (I changed it about a month ago). I will let some out tomorrow. Also I removed the backup lights to see if the fuse was blowing because of them. The connections seemed to be corroded, so I did not put them back yet. Can either of these two things be causing my problem? Does any one know what causes this problem?

Thank you for the help, everyone.

I fixed mine by soldering it back together and wrapping it with electrial tape. Then pulling the wire out of the car a little to compensate for the 1cm lost in wire length. Also you could twist the wires together and put those twist caps on them, but then you end up with pile of twist caps that need to go in a tight spot.
