Default should have just ran a line from the battery to a power block thing (cant think of correct term)...

then to the amp and anything else you want to power (with inline fuses on each component of course)... im adding a second battery once i get my sh*t together...just to be safe...

i connected it from the back of my pioneer remote the blue wire to the amp which has the remote turn on.. i remmeber before when i fooled with some metal parts near the rear light it kept hitting the fuse, are u sure that me trying to ground on the metal above the spare tire in the trunk is correct? the fuse is #14, maybe i need to change the fuse inside the fuse box?? thanks

Default The amp shouldnt affect any fuses, only the inline fuse of the power cable.

It may just be coincidence that your fuse is blowing after you installed an amp. The only effect an amp has on the rest of the electronics in the car is the fact that it puts a drain on the alternator, which will dim ur lights when it needs a lot of power (big bass hit). Unless ur power wire is somehow interfering with internal electronics, maybe if a piece of the insulation is gone and short circuiting another wire......but thats highly unlikely, especially if you just installed the amp. I would look for a different reason for the fuse blowing....

Default ground is ground, unless you are shorting....

I have heard that the interior lights are tied to the trunk/tail lights. So my guess is that you are shorting the trunk/tail lights to ground causing the fuse to blow.
