Default Fwd B4 rear suspension onto a B3

Has anyone ever taken the rear suspension (the rear beam) from a fwd B4 and put it onto the rear of a fwd B3?

The reason I ask is because I think that the torsion beam on the B4 provides better handling than the crank axle on the B3.

Good question sir,

Perhaps one reason is the B3 lacks the receiving nuts to mount the upper spring/damper assembly mounts on the inner fender verical wall?

Could you instead mount a B3 rear subframe from a quattro?
