Every time i fill up my gas tank now in my 1990 80 the interior smells like gas.....and it is a strong smell....what should i do here?

For starters, look in the trunk and make sure the tank's not leaking!!!!

I'm having the same problem with my 1990 CoupeQ.
Took the back interior apart so I could see the
lines from the gas tank/fill tube/carbon canister/
whatever. It's really difficult to tell where the
leak is, I had no luck even with everything apart.
I could not believe how many gas lines run from
the tank to various other points, but everything
on my car looked new. So now I think it might be
the fuel supply line under the car to the fuel
filter, but I only get the smell INSIDE the car.
I'll be taking it to a dealer since it's driving
me crazy and I can't figure it out, so I'll let
you know what I find.
