gas tank
for the past few months I have been having problems filling up my gas tank and now it seems to be getting worse. i use to get atleast 15 dollars in and now only about 9 dollars thens the pump shuts off which indicates tank is full. also the gauge is not very accurate and i know the gauge needs to be changed any suggestions why my gas tank wont fill up all the way?

Re: you should be able to hear if the tank is getting full when you fill up...
ok i listen to the tank and hear gurgiling but when the pump stops at 7 gallons and i just drove 120 miles the tank should take way more than 7 gallons seeing the tank is 18.5 gallons.

Howdy! For 120 miles you should have to put even less in. Does your gas gauge constantly read low, or when you fill up does it go to Full? These cars get decent gas mileage, a little driven 80 FWD 2.0 can run 30mpg on the highway. My 90q20v when hard driven still gets 20mpg, light driving can get me 25mpg on the highway.

120 miles...
You should be getting better gas mileage...I have the same problem in my car bc my gas gaduge doesn't work...I usually fill up between 275-300 miles on the trip and I only fill up with about 13-15 gallons...so when you drive 120 miles and fill up with 7 you have to be full...just my $0.02

i guess i have the same problem
the gun triggers to shut off before the filling is done. hell most guns i can't even use the high setting because it'll just stop.
it takes me 15-20 minutes to fill up.

Howdy! You need to be more specific, "ok i listen to the tank and hear gurgiling but when the pump stops at 7 gallons and i just drove 120 miles." TO myself and obviously others that sounds like you drove 120 miles on 7 gallons, not unreasonable. Maybe saying I ran the tank down to empty and all I can fill it with is 7 gallons might make it more clear what's going on.
Does you gas gauge read properly? When you fill it does it stop about halfway? Does it ever go to full?
Thank you,
