Here's my crappy translation. Didn't quite turn out as well as I had hoped but I don't get much practice with native speakers. All the people from Germany seem to speak fluent english. WTF? :-/ A computer translator is probably going to miss all the car related vocabulary anyway...

den RS-Spiegel. Das Nerven- und Zeitaufwendigste an diesem Umbau, ist die Erweiterung der Karosserie. Bei mir musste das "Langloch" um ca. 8-10mm vergrössert werden. (Angezeichnete Fläche Bild links)
On the Coupe and the Cabrio the opening for the external mirrors on the doors is too small for the RS mirror. The ??? and ??? (wiring?) for this build is for a later chassis. You need to make the long hole bigger by 8-10mm.

Mit Dremel und entsprechendem Fräseinsatz, wurde die Erweiterung (Bild links) vorgenommen, wobei nur der vordere Teil der Öffnung modifiziert werden musste. Hier sollte darauf geachtet werden, dass möglichst keine Späne in die Türöffnung fallen.
With Dremel and ??(cutting tool?) ...???? ??? Must modify the opening of the part. Here you should ??? then you don't want to screw up.

Die Befestigung des neuen Spiegels, erfolgte etwas anders als beim alten Spiegel. Mit der neuen Dichtung am Sockel, wurde der Spiegel wieder montiert und an den Adapter geschraubt.
Once you have the opening the size you want, then you need to work with a bottle of primer on the interior, to prevent rust. The ??? the new mirrors, is ??? the old mirrors. With the new ???? mirrors the adapter ???
