Get 6 FREE new fuel injectors NOW!!! and a new fuel rail and relay.
There is a recall if you guys are not aware yet on the fuel injectors on the 93 90's that requires that all the injectors be replaced, along with a new fuel rail. Supposedly there is a fire hazard that exists in the car. I am not sure if this exists for 94-95's, but you should go to a local audi dealer and give them your VIN number to confirm. I saw the new fuel rail, and it looks awesome, I'm getting the work done by the dealer friday, and they're hooking me up with one of their loaner cars, which is either a bimmer, benz, audi or infinity.......SWEET If this is old news, then disregard.

Re: Only my injectors were replaced, by dealer due to recall.
Crap, I'm kinda scared now! Is there a way to know if my fuel injectors were replaced before? Is it too late to get them replaced?

Go to your dealer and have them look up your VIN in the recall database. They should be able to tell if the work was done before. That's what my dealer did. I had the ignition switch recall performed but not the injector recall. The dealer was able to determine that and performed the service for me.

Does it matter that the person who had my car was originally in New York? They traded it in to a dealer and I don't think they got the service records or anything because I never got them... So since I'm in San Diego, can I simply call the local dealer and would they still be able to check?

They should be able to check. My car was purchased and serviced by another dealer. They were able to check the database and found that all of the recall work was done previously except for the injectors.

Thanks for the help. Once I get my car driveable again I'll check it out. Since it's a recall, should I expect to pay nothing?
