I was very lucky indeed to find a little stash tucked away. Both of these metals are virtually unobtanium anywhere in the world right now or prices are vulgarly exhorbitant. Titanium prices have more than doubled since Christmas. Thats why my rods were so long in coming. 7075 T6 aluminum has almost tripled in price in the first quarter '05. 7075 T6 tubular/solid rod stock's largest customer is aircraft/aerospace and primarily landing gear strut supports due to it's inherent strength, rigidity and weight-savings.

and I wont have that rs2 mesh to drop off with you to give to the powdercoaters anyways, but that would be nice to know. Maybe I could drop it off along with my valve cover...
