Default The good old beaten oil filter topic.

This is what I have and can be found at PMC or your local NAPA store.. Gotta be as big as MikTip's VW diesel filter..

Check out the diff. in size.

Default Let's ask the dude with the 370k mile Audi (below) if he used oversized filters...

...cause if he didn't then the regular-sized filters are good enough for me too.

Oversized filters are expensive buggers, found oil psi to be lower when used in the 2.0t as well

do you think this contributed to the leaks on my oil pressure sender and maybe oil pan gasket?

I'm still in pursuit of this mysterious leak and definitely not coming from the top...

Oil changed every 5000 miles (interstate miles). Mahle/Bosch filters used.
