Hey all! So I got the sister car to my 88 90 quattro, a 90 80 quattro. It was the car my buddy had when I met him then he got the 90 quattro and gave the 80 quattro to kid who I got it from yesterday. Due to the condition of the 80 quattro and the fact it has just as many miles as the 90 quattro I've decided to use the 80 for parts. This is an unusually built 80 from my searches as it has the heated cloth seats. So I'm wondering if I will be able to swap parts from the 80 quattro to the 90/quattro like the gauge cluster,the vdo gauges under the radio, window switches etc. And I also noticed the rear suspension is different than my 90 quattro so I'm guessing the swap would be an up grade from the 1988 suspension. Id also like to get the headlight washers swapped over. Might have left over parts if anyone needs stuff.
I'm reading my service manual to try to understand stuff lol.
