Default Has anyone with S2 hubs tried using the V8 vented rotors and calipers??

We put them on Den's wagon with the "91" 200 vented wagon rotors and like it, any BTDT's???

Thanks otherwise I'm going to take them off the wagon to find out.

The V8 and 200q20v (and later S4/6) use the same calipers, I believe; but I think the V8 uses a slightly different offset on the rear rotor. Might be wrong...

I believe I test fit the rotors on the coupe with S2 hubs and the 200q20v rotors didn't work; too deep a hat.

Default Oliver did on the RS80, it required a spacer under the rotor hat, 6-7mm IIRC...

pushing the rotor out. It is too deep without some sort of spacing.

200q20v that is! Almost forgot to mention.

Cheers,

Default the V8 rotors are a good bit taller than 200 20VQ rotors.....

20VQ rotors should work with V8 calipers and if you move the caliper from one sode of the mount to the other, drilling out the caliper threads, and tapping new threads into the mount. then it will fit....

Default Thanks everyone, seems everyone agrees V8 won't go without being spaced

That's good info, I've found that the V8 and 200 20VT sedan rear rotor are the same and know from experience that the 200 20VT wagon has a different offset than the sedan. Sounds like the wagon offset might work I'll have to get back to everyone and let you know. Thanks again.
