Default Has anyone worked on the center arm rest?

Yes, I searched.

91 90q20v. The release was hard to press so I pulled the tab and backround off and in goofing around with the release rod I must have screwed something up. It now has no "mid" stops just full up to resting on the ebrake handle. I pulled the rest off but could not find a way in to the internals past the leather cover. The rod still slides and has a spring load on it.

I hate it when I go in to fix one thing and end up horsing up another.

Default I pulled it off and, as posted, can't get past the leather

It almost looks as if the cover was "baseball stiched" after assembly so it won't come off, but thanks for the response

Default I'm not cool enough to have a digicam

I'll just have to prop a barley pop can under the rest until I get it figured out.
