Default yeap, I looked it over yesterday with a co-worker...

who might be bringing it home. Runs, but there are some tricks involved to keeping it running... Like to idle you have to stay thumping on the fuel pump or it will die... so... technically I guess it doesnt "run" per-say.

Also has some shift linkage issues, as well as general wear and tear you'd expect to find at the junkyard, and a charging issue. All easily fixable with a 1.8T conversion

Default I wouldnt dive in to the head ache, but he seems to be interested...

will post pics if he gets it as within a few hours of his ownership I am sure I will have greasy hands...

Default Yup, saw it...too much $$ and a lot more rust than my Fox has...

...plus those GTI-specific parts will be that much more of a pain to source!

It's been for sale since July or August BTW, thanks though.
