I did the valley pan this week and made sure it was flattened and sealed quite well.
With the car idling, it appears there's oil seeping down from the head gaskets. It doesn't leak quickly, so it's not like you can see it blow out but it's gradually getting more oily as it runs and it's not coming from above or below...

Definitely maybe. Again I have no direct experience here, just what I've read. It may depend on what your idea of a re-torque is. Yes, I think it may be worthwhile to try a couple more things trouble-shooting wise.
If it where me, here's what I would do.
a.) evaluate the leak, how bad is it vs taking the bus?
b.) read the entire conversation at this link:
https://www.audiworld.com/forums/sho...ght=head+bolts
c.) pull one cam-cover and determine which type of wrench (of four(?) possible, see link) you will need, and replace cover;
https://www.audiworld.com/forums/sho...ght=head+bolts
c..) remove cam cover(s) and see if any of the bolts move at 30 ft/lbs. and stop there;
d.) replace covers;
e.) wash away all the visible engine oil; &
f.) see if leakage abates;
g.) If any bolts where found loose, and if leakage does not diminish, get some new OEM's and replace them as per "the procedure", one at a time;
h.) repeat steps d.) through f.);
i.) consider next move.
Hope this helps.

My idea of the re-torque is the old quarter turn idea discussed in that thread.
For some cars, it's part of the installation process, torque to spec, run car for certain cycle, tighten additional 1/4 turn. I'm pretty retentive about following instructions when doing jobs like this and remember having to do this for the MKI Jetta I had.
This is no where as simple as the MKI Jetta though...
