The (heater/ac) blower is not spinning...!

The (heater/ac) blower is not spinning...!
Hello all,
This morning (Apr/20), I just replaced a (used) blower to my '89 Audi-90 (auto, non-q, 90+K miles).
Yes, the blower was tested & it is working OK, before I stuff in. All wiring connections (3 of them) are connected properly.
However, the blower still doesn't want to spin up. (I tapped a multi-meter at the -/+ connectors, well...no juice.) Yike, what else could have gone wrong...w/ the old blower?)
Could someone pls shed me the lights?

Note: the old blower was squeaky (for more than 6-8 months) & it was toasted since the last summer ('02). When I took it out, there is a lot of brownny dusts in the vapor pan. Anyway, got to get it fixed before this summer... Help, pls...
