Default Help, can't get tie rod end out of arm

I'm replacing my tie rod ends and sway bar links now, one sway bar link done, but I can't seem to get the tie rod end out of the arm. I've whacked it a few times with a hammer and I've tried to move the control arm up and down with the OE jack to get it loose, no luck yet. Any Suggestions?

Default Its a fun job

Since you are replacing the tie rod end, use a pickle fork, jam it between the end and the housing, then wack it with a hammer.
I had to use a very large sledge hammer + pickle fork to do my rear ball joints, and it STILL took a while.
Good luck.

Tried one of those, had a hard time keeping it on the tie rod end itself
