Re: #1: Don't forget one of the most important parts of doing your brakes: change ALL the fluid.
This will fix many of the problems that are often blamed on bad lines.

good enough for street and light track.

You may want to get some extra bleeder valves...I had a "broken" valve on a rear caliper.
The ball portion was stuck, so it wouldn't bleed. New one was like $2 at Autozone.
