Default Help!! NG engine no start

car stranded at pet store today because it won't start. it cranks and cranks.

NO vac leaks, new distributer cap/rotor

code 2122... but I've been told it doesn't exist.

Maybe I read it wrong but I let it flash for like 15 minutes and i am sure it is 2122... or 2212....

will check codes again but car is dead and no sign of starting again.

it started fine at the house but it suddenly won't start again.

If the code is 2112, then you have a bad engine position sensor (EPS), sometimes called an Ignition Reference Sensor.

My 20V had this problem for some time and I finally fixed it with a brand new part from the local dealer. I'm pretty sure the 7A (20V) and NG both use the EPS and generate the same code when it's faulty.

Default hmm i think it is 2122, you sure it is hall sender? 20v.org is 2113 for hall sender

maybe it is different for NG

I wish I have my bentley here.. at gf's house

maybe repeater's soldering job finally quit, my hall sender wires inside got cut by the window plate and he had to solder it back.... annoying that was

Default I looked at my Bentley...

For the 4000/CGT. The 87.5 has the CISEIII stuff in there, thats where I got the number. I figured since it was the same motor, the code would be the same.

Default I'll bet that wire broke again. Hall sender makes perfect sense.

That's the wire we had to repair. I'll bet money on it it's broken again.
