Help!!! No start 95 B4 V6...
I can't afford to be without my car for too long so I took it to a local independent Audi tech.
1. No Codes
2. Did a fuel volume test and got only 200ml when system should put out 750ml.
3. Replaced the fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump (also screen inside tank), fuel filter, etc...
4. Still no start and no increase in fuel volume/pressure
Any suggestions where to look at this point? I knew I should have taken the time to do this myself!!! -Thanks
PS. I remember reading several years ago about a guy who fixed a fuel problem by replacing his fuel cap. I mentioned this to my mechanic and he said no way because the fuel tank is separate from pressure in fuel lines.

Yes pump relay was replaced. What about the fuel accumulator, could it cause low fuel volume?
The mechanic said he replaced the fuel pressure regulator, is that the same as the fuel accumulator?

B4 Audi's do not have a fuel accumulator. ;O)
The fuel pressure reg, is on the fuel rail, close to the injectors.
A voltage check needs to be done on the injectors to see if they are getting the correct voltage.
Also verify the MAF sensor is working correctly?
"No codes" could mean its a bad ECU? /
See if the fuel line maybe crimped underneath some where?
Disconnect the battery, for several minutes to reset ECU?

If it does not allow air to enter, it can create a vacuum effect.......
which can cause the pump, to output less fuel pressure. Its possible?
To verify, remove the cap, see if car starts! ;O)
