Default Hesitation all gone!!

Been a 2 month long project since I bought the car but now the power band is smooth.

Full tune up, Motorvac, ans new O2.

Makes a world of difference. Still could not keep up with a 200 20vTurbo Quattro though! Oh well, at least I do not blow any black smoke!

Default a bad o2....

causes a mis-read signal to be sent to the ecu having the a/f mixture go rich in most cases, causing black smoke from the exhaust on acceleration since there's too much fuel entering the combustion chambers to be burned, this also promotes cylinder wall washdown which could result in increased oil consumption as the rings will not scrape the walls properly, obviously fuel consumption will go up from it too

Default Motorvac is that expensive pressurized "flushing" system they try to sell you....

when you actually pay someone like a shop to change your oil

they put some additive in your gas tank, some in the oil and then they proceed to inject with a pump this stuff into the intake manifold which is supposed to eat the carbon and clean things up

i've heard it's not wise to do with a higher mileage engine as some of the buildup holds some things together in there, but i suppose that's to be debated.

I did it once a few years ago with a 91 lumina with 3.1L MPFI that i had owned from 59k, service done @ 120k

I didn't notice any improvement in anything, so i dunno, it was like 60$
