Default It wouldn't turn far enough to line up the marks,

I got about 1/2 of full revolution b4 it would lock up and not move any further.

Default Sounds like the belt was on wrong.

I prolly woulda stopped right there, but I know how it is when you have the weekend set aside to make progress on a project...

Hope you get it resolved quickly. I doubt you'll have a problem.

My experience with Chris was terrible. Wish I had run across this prior to spending close to $20,000 with him. He sent me the wrong parts and refused to take them back without charging a 20% restocking fee (on his error!).

What's more, he didn't even make me aware of this policy of his until after the sale. It came in the fine print on an invoice he refused to send in electronic form, even though it was requested.

It's been months since I made him aware of this - he slow played all this and refused to take responsibility for anything.

So long story short he had one and for the right price, so I rode up to NH yesterday and picked it up. At first glance the motor looked excellent, it seemed to have been sitting somewhere inside for while but overall it was in good condition.

Now here is where my mistake came into play, I didn't have the motor turned over from the crank b4 I took it (yes I know very well that this should have been the first thing I should have done, but this is neither here nor there.) So I get the motor back to the shop yesterday put it on the stand and left (first nice day in Mass in like a month). So I came in today to do a little prep work and this is where I found the motor not turning over. I tried to turn it with a normal amount of force to get the crank to turn over, but it wasn't budging. So I removed the heads, and what do I find, two scored pistons from where the valves hit them.

Now my question to you all, does anyone have any personal experience with Force 5 Auto, all my searches on the forum came back that they were pretty good guys. Does this seem to be a mistake, or am I getting hosed. I just don't want to be stuck with a bad motor the week I take off of work to rebuild my car, this will set my project back weeks.

Default This Guys a Joke!

This is very dishonest man that will take no blame for anything he has done go read his Yelp Reviews those should be posted her they're terrible. He quote on quote fixed a strut in my Tiguan while he damaged the CV axle and I had to have it towed after waiting a week to hear nothing. He rude, vague and a real shiesty jerk. He ended up costing my $600 for three cv axle he ruined the sad part was no plan was taking I didn't even get a sorry.
