Put the car on a diet, and put the driver through some Driver Education sessions on a track, with an intructor.
There is no cheap power for the 90q20v or CQ 20v.
Either gotta spend the money on the 7A engine, or swap in a turbo engine to get anything worth while.

As just previously mentioned, there is no cheap way of doing it.
You CAN do it, but not for cheap.
2 questions.. how much money do you want to spend, and how much HP do you want?

Far from simple, not cheap either. I was able to do it for just about $3500 total, and I got a crazy deal on the engine. 10vt can be had cheap, 20vt (like mine) are rare and you have to search for a good deal on one.
