how do i bleed the coolant system on a b3 5 cylinder?

Then you can close everything, go for a drive and then top off expansion tank if needed.
I tried opening the bleed valve but it wasn't for moving and I didn't want to force it so I just left it: just filled-up, ran the engine for a while and topped-up.

yeah....you gotta get the t-stat open.
And like MikTip, I've never had to bleed a 5cyl. The 12v, yes...

Yes ur supposed to open little bleed screw going into firewall - mine broke as I tried to undo it, leaving the screw inside, so I just left it, filled exp tank and drove, then topped up.
