Hi All,
Well I got my new mirror pad and it works (thanks Nick) but I forgot about my original problem, the passenger side mirror doesn't work.
I think somethings just disconnected on that side because when I use the pad to attempt to move it, I hear the little gears shifting as with the working drivers side one, but the mirror itself doesn't move.
So I guess my question is how to remove the mirror without breaking anything? I think I can figure out how to repair it if I get it off, but I'll post again if I can't. Many thanks!

...bottom center of the glass. Place a small rag between the screwdriver and the mirror. Pry the mirror off. Should come off pretty easy.
When installing, only push in the center or you will break the glass.
HTH..be careful!!
