How do you replace an alternator belt on a 1989 Audi 100??

if i'm not mistaken, all alternator belts are vitualy the same as for fitting that is. just loosen the nut that holds the alternator in place.(this sould be where the alternator slides to give tention)move inward to give slack, replace new belt and use some sort of leverage to put tention back on new belt and tighted up bolt..
