Default How to remove blower motor??

Hello, My blower motor is ceased on my 89 90. It and only runs/grinds in highest speed. I sourced a new one and have had the hardest time taking the old one out. Does anyone have a trick? I pulled out the glove box and center console (think I busted my HVAC cluster) trying to get it loose. The motor unscrews but is blocked by the passenger side air vent conduit. Anyone ever done this?

Default I think you'll have to pull the dash out all the way

which is not that hard. Putting it back in might take some time

Default Didn't have to remove the center console. Remove more of the passenger side of dash...

and loosen mounts of dash on passenger side. It will loosen enough stuff to remove blower like nothing. Took me 45 minutes to replace mine on CQ.

Default Re: sometimes the blower resister causes the blower to only run in one speed...

in case you replace the blower, but still have only High. Then just replace the blower resister.

Yucatan,

The resistor...is it the ceramic piece with the four pronged plug not far from it?
