It should be similar to the conversion of a coupe quattro.

I believe there is a method of doing this with american junkyard parts, but it involves a bit of machining.

Don't forget that the rear of the Cabrio is a beam axle and won't use the same hubs as what you would for a CQ, which has struts.
5kt or 200 rear hubs may work, don't know....
