Default I did a passat bumper conversion 2day, it looks awsome!!!
I went to the junkyard yesterday and found a bumper from a b3 VR6 passat (the one with the lights like the rs4 bumper). I experimented with fitting it on and found out that everything lines up perfect! all I had to do was take out the shocks for the matal bumper on our cars and bolt the metal bumper right to the frame like it is on all volkswagens. It looks great and was reletivly cheap. If anyone needs instructions I can email u. I'd post pics but I don't have a digital camera

What if I switched the bumper and then put an aftermarket Passat bumper on. that would work right?

this will totally help for European bumper installations in allowing ppl to keep the DOT rebar =)
