Default I found a glass etching guy who will do my new RS2 mirror glass with the following message:

"OBJECTS IN MIRROR ARE SLOWER THAN THEY APPEAR"

I'll have it done on both mirror plates before mounting. He only wants $35 to do both. I figure thats a cheap price for such a funny novelty.

Default If you wanted to be cheap and...

... make sure it was done the exact way you wanted, you could...<ul><li><a href="http://www.misterart.com/store/view/003/group_id/1699/Armour-Deluxe-Glass-Etching-Kit.htm">DIY</a></li></ul>

Default the guy who does this uses a dental air etching tool with compressed air and a fine blast media...

he also has the "exact" typestyle/typeface used on the OEM mirrors so it looks 100% factory. He cuts the vinyl letters for the text body on a computer then pulls the letters out and adheres it to the glass, masks around it then blasts it. He has dozens of samples and it is dead nuts perfect! That kit with shipping costs 2/3 of having him do it. He normally charges $50 but since glass is out of the housings he can take it with him, etch it overnight and return to me next day. Thats a hard service and price to beat.

He's also going to etch my VIN number in every piece of glass in the car including headlights to help ward off theft and parts scavenging.
