i've never waxed my car. ever. tried this weekend. finished the hood. i think i'm going to pay my friend to buff it out.

But good Carnuba is easy to use. If you haven't cleaned it in awhile, then you've got to bite the bullet and get all the oxidation/garbage off. Once that's done though, if you keep it up with a good plain wax, then it won't go bad again.
There are quite a few Carnuba's out there now, and the difference is that they're just wax, no grit polish. They go on easy, and come off easy too, sonce you're not trying to take a layer of paint and grime off. A bit like waxing your furniture.

Many people confuse and think if they put thicker coat on it will protect better....right way to do it is go as thin as possible but rub it in real good...that's what the machine does esentially.

makes it much easier for buffing and crap. And you should do it more often like every 3 months. It will make it much easier to do plus your car will look killer.
